Related: Kingdom Hearts Creator Hints At New Game Planned For 20th Anniversary With the voice's knowledge of Quadratum and Riku's Power of Awakening, Riku can travel to Quadratum and investigate. This is the same power that Sora and Riku used in Dream Drop Distance to travel to the sleeping worlds. Until next time catch you all later. It's still not clear exactly who the voice is, but despite previous fan theories it seems like this may be an entirely new character from Quadratum. What do you all think will happen? Do you think I’m right or wrong? How? Do you hope I’m either or? Please leave feedback and your thoughts. I know there a lot of holes in it but the fun of waiting game is the ability it gives us as fans to speculate the outcome. But again it’s only a theory and can and probably will be proven wrong. KH3 might seemingly follow this same path or have more of a bitter sweet ending. Namoura has previously stated that this installment in the KH franchise will be the darkest one yet and that’s saying something, as I personally found Birth Bu Sleep of the darkest so far with no happy ending for any one. To save a friend, or to save the relax of light? It’s a choice that will be the reason why KH3 will be the darkest entry in the franchise. The roles will be reversed and Riku now bares the burdens of all Keyblade Masters before him. My overall idea is that KH3 will be Riku’s extended story. Where we will fight Sora in an attempt to save him but also save the world. I predict that we follow Sora up until his unfortunate Norting where we will then be forced to play as Riku for the remainder of the game. We already know that KH3 will ultimately alternate between both Sora and Riku.

Letting the darkness inside Sora fester just long enough so that Sora could then become his new Vessel. What if Xehanort foresaw this outcome as a possibility and instead waited. Unable to see the dangers of it, while constantly fighting against it, Sora was unable to recognize the signs of his own darkness in his heart which lead to his capture and almost Norted. Suppressing it and ultimately expelling its negative influences on him and controlling it.

When through out Dream Drop Distance he overcame it at every turn.
#KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ENDING SERIES#
His constant struggle with his darkness that had haunted him throughout the series up till now. The story of Riku thus far has been about his early short comings yo the darkness in his heart and his battle towards redemption. To test both Riku and Sora, as well as controlling the darkness in their hearts. The point of Dream Drop Distance was two parts. What if he planned for Sora to escape this time to only succumb to the darkness later. Calculating each and ever step, making sure multiple roads were open to him at all times. As we clearly seen, Xehanort has been planning this war for what seems like his late teenage years. Now for those of you arguing that this isn’t a theory it already happened and failed two things, one this is my blog let me have this. Xehanort seems at peace because he’s already planned out his next move. While Riku does manage to save the day along with Mickey and the rest of the gang. Well that’s where Sora comes in, he is the planned 13 darkness. Lucky for Xehanort math isn’t a necessary requirement to be a Keyblade master because he’s one member short of his supposed 13 darkness. To recreate the Key-blade wars, and claim the power that is known as Kingdom Hearts. To wage war, with their 13 darkness, and the 7 lights. In Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, we are fully introduced to the true Organization 13 and there end game. Yet its here where this theory is born and why I ultimately feel that Sora and Riki will fight at the end of KH3, light versus darkness with everything on the line. That is what leads to his loss of powers and subsequent need to restore them at the beginning of the upcoming game. However at the height of his power he was struck down by his own hubris in a sense. From leaving his home world blind and lost, to saving, the realm of light from the clutches of darkness on more than one occasion. Ignoring horrible segways, Sora the protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts universe has done so much in his sort stint. However, the idea is flooding out there and I honestly haven’t seen anyone talking about it so why bring the discussion to light. So this is a theory based purely off of speculation and minor supporting evidence.
